Wow- right now I am in New Zealand! You wouldn't believe how amazing it is here! The people are wonderful, and I am having a blast!
I arrived here on Sunday morning. I found Brandy in the airport, and I can honestly say I have NEVER hugged anyone like that! People around us must have thought we were crazy! Anyways, she brought me a gerber daisy! My favorite!
We got back to her flat and after meeting a few people I was able to get a shower and take some time to settle in. Brandy had a bed made up or me in her room, and I had plenty of room for my luggage. Then Brandy, Bam, Cameron, and Brad went to the groery store. I was quite perplexed by the 'backwards' driving here. Not so bad when you are in the back seat- but it is so NOT natural for me to be up front in the drivers seat and not be driving- or have a steering wheel for that matter. I'm beginning to get used to it...
After the store we hung around the flat for awhile. Then we went to an Art Museum in one of the nearby towns. I felt like I was in an episode of 'Sex in the City" except I was wearing a sweatshirt... When we got back Brandy made some excellent fish, and then we watched a movie.
